Community Marketing Fund - M. Roberts Media, the parent company of the Victoria Advocate, has established a $1 million “Community Marketing Fund” to help local businesses get back to full strength by subsidizing marketing efforts through matching advertising dollars. Businesses operating in Victoria and area markets can apply for a grant of up to $15,000 at mrobertsmedia.com/communitygrant

CenterPoint Energy’s COVID-19 Relief Fund - The CenterPoint Energy Foundation will contribute $1.5 million to nonprofit organizations, agencies and causes that are committed to supporting those who have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. CenterPoint Energy’s COVID-19 Relief Fund will include $1 million in direct contributions, as well as up to $500,000 in matching gifts for employees’ contributions to qualifying 501(c)3 organizations. Foundation contributions will go to organizations who are responding to the COVID-19 crisis and supporting vulnerable and at-risk populations. Qualifying nonprofit organizations in CenterPoint Energy’s utility footprint of Arkansas, Indiana, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas will be eligible to receive grants. Organizations that are interested in applying for a CenterPoint Energy COVID-19 Relief Fund grant should visit
