Education

Aransas County ISD is an independent county-wide 4-A school system serving a 280 square mile area including the communities of Holiday Beach, Lamar, Fulton, Rockport and a small portion of northern Aransas Pass. The District serves over 3,100+ students on five campuses: three elementary, one middle school, and one high school, using 73.34 acres. During 2012 the elementary schools will under go complete renovation.

Public School Special Programs: Gifted/Talented, Special Ed, 504, Career and Technology, G.E.D., Vocational, High School Advanced Placement and Dual Credit Classes, ESL, State Compensatory, Federal Title I, II, IV, VI Programs and Adult Education, Community Education, and Swim Program. Local Outreach Classes are available at Rockport-Fulton High School.
